Abstract:
A 2wt%CeO2/Ni60A cladding layer on 6063 aluminum alloy surface was prepared using laser cladding technology,the microstructure,microhardness and corrosion resistance of the cladding layer were studied and compared with those of Ni60A cladding layer and 6063 aluminum alloy.The results show that,comparing with Ni60A cladding layer,2wt%CeO2/Ni60A cladding layer had more uniform microstructure,smaller size grains and fewer structure defects(such as pore),and some hard phases,such as Cr3C2,Fe2C,SiC and Fe23(C,B)6 also were found.The microhardness of 2wt%CeO2/Ni60A cladding layer was higher than that of Ni60A cladding layer at the same depth positions and the maximum of its hardness was 1 180 HV.In three kinds of corrosion solutions,1 mol·L-1 H2SO4 solution,3.5wt% NaCl solution and 1 mol·L-1 NaOH solution,the corrosion resistance of 2wt%CeO2/Ni60A cladding layer was much better than that of Ni60A cladding layer and 6063 aluminum alloy.
