    Shape Control and Microstructure of Spray Deposited Billets of 2A12 Aluminum Alloy

    • 摘要: 通过运用自主研发的两种(双辊和四辊)流型控制器, 在不同条件下制备了2A12铝合金喷射沉积坯, 观察了沉积坯的形状及显微组织, 获得最适合的工艺。结果表明: 经四辊流型控制器控制沉积后, 可得到宽度较窄(约20 mm)、截面呈明显高斯分布的沉积坯, 基本满足喷射沉积与连续挤压的几何尺寸匹配; 且晶粒为球状, 晶粒尺寸比自由喷射沉积时明显减小; 采用四辊流型控制器控制沉积时, 最适合的雾化气体压力为0.3 MPa。

       

      Abstract: The deposited billets of 2A12 aluminum alloy using two self-developed flow controllers (two-roller and four-roller), and the shapes and microstructure of deposited billets were observed to get the most suitable process. The results show that a deposited billet in narrow width about 20 mm and showing obvious Gaussian distribution on the cross-section was achieved using four-roller flow controller. The deposited billet satisfied the size matching between spray deposition and continuous extrusion. The grains of deposited billets were spherical and decreased in grain size compared to free spray. The most suitable atomizing gas pressure was 0.3 MPa in deposition process using four-roller flow controller.
