    粉体粒径对氧化锆陶瓷断裂韧性的影响

    Effect of Powder Size on Fracture Toughness of Zirconia Ceramics

    • 摘要: 利用放电等离子烧结技术, 在温度1 400 ℃、压力15 MPa条件下烧结5 min制备了氧化钇稳定的四方多晶氧化锆陶瓷(Y-TZP), 研究了原料粉体的粒径(301.9~444.8 nm)对该陶瓷晶粒尺寸和断裂韧性的影响。结果表明: 随着粉体粒径的减小, Y-TZP陶瓷的晶粒尺寸逐渐增大, 应力诱导相变量增加, 断裂韧性增大; 当粉体粒径为301.9 nm时, 应力诱导相变量和断裂韧度均达到最大, 分别为16.18%(体积分数)和7.06 MPa·m1/2。

       

      Abstract: The yttria-stabilized tetragonal polycrystalline zirconia ceramics (Y-TZP) were sintered at temperature of 1 400 ℃ for 5 min under pressure of 15 MPa by using spark plasma sintering. The effects of the raw powder size (from 301.9 nm to 444.8 nm) on the grain size and fracture toughness of Y-TZP ceramics were investigated. The results show that the grain size, the stress-induced phase transformation content and the fracture toughness of the Y-TZP ceramics all increased with the decrease of the powder size. When the powder size was 301.9 nm, the stress-induced phase transformation content and fracture toughness both reached the maximum values, which were 16.18vol% and 7.06 MPa·m1/2 respectively.
