    Unusual Cracking Failure Analysis of 220 kV Circuit Breaker Spring

    • 摘要: 对异常开裂失效的220 kV断路器用60Si2CrVA钢弹簧的化学成分、显微组织、力学性能、断口形貌等进行了分析, 以找到其失效原因。结果表明: 弹簧呈脆性开裂特征, 开裂原因是在弹簧磨簧过程中支撑圈表面产生异常高温, 在随后水冷过程中形成了局部淬火马氏体组织。

       

      Abstract: In order to find the failure reason, the chemical composition, microstructure, mechanical properties and fracture morphology of unusual cracking failed 60Si2CrVA steel spring, which was used for 220 kV circuit breaker, were analyzed. The results show that the spring presented a brittle crack characteristic. The cracking reason was that the abnormal high temperature was produced on the surface of supporting ring during the spring grinding process and in the followed water cooling process formed the local quenching martensitic microstructure.
