    Effect of TiCN Addition on Properties of WC-Co Cemented Carbide

    • 摘要: 采用粉末冶金+高温液相烧结制备得到TiCN含量(质量分数)分别为0,0.5%,1.0%,1.5%,2.0%的WC-Co硬质合金,研究了TiCN含量对该硬质合金微观形貌、致密性能和力学性能的影响。结果表明:当TiCN含量不大于1.0%时,硬质合金的晶粒尺寸分布均匀,孔隙、微裂缝和杂质偏析等缺陷相对较少,而大于1.0%时,缺陷数量增多,缺陷尺寸变大;随TiCN含量的增加,硬质合金的致密性能降低,维氏硬度先增大后减小,抗弯强度和断裂韧度均先降低后略有增大再降低;当TiCN含量为1.0%时,硬质合金的综合性能最佳。

       

      Abstract: WC-Co cemented carbides were prepared by powder metallurgy and high temperature liquid sintering with TiCN content of 0,0.5wt%,1.0wt%,1.5wt%,2.0wt%, respectively. The effects of TiCN content on the micromorphology, densification performance and mechanical properties of the cemented carbide were studied. The results show that when TiCN content was no more than 1.0wt%, the grain size of the cemented carbide distributed evenly and less defects such as holes, microcracks and impurity segregation were observed; when higher than 1.0wt%, the amount of defects increased and the size bacame larger. With the increase of TiCN content, the densification performance of the cemented carbide decreased; the Vickers hardness increased and then decreased; the bending strength and fracture toughness first decreased then increased slightly and then decreased. When the TiCN content was 1.0wt%, the comprehensive performance of the cemented carbide was the best.
