    基于Al(OH)3的熔盐法制备片状α-Al2O3工艺参数优化

    Optimization of Process Parameters for Preparation of Flaky α-Al2O3 by Molten Salt Method with Al(OH)3

    • 摘要: 以Al(OH)3为前驱体,采用熔盐法制备片状α-Al2O3,通过正交试验结合单因素方法研究了Al(OH)3与熔盐(NaCl+Na2SO4)的质量比(1:1,1:2,1:3)、添加剂Na3PO4质量分数(0.1%,1%,2%)、添加剂TiOSO4质量分数(0.5%,1%,3%)、烧结温度(900,1 050,1 200 ℃)以及保温时间(1,3,5 h)对Al2O3形貌的影响,获得最优工艺参数。结果表明:由正交试验得到对片状α-Al2O3形貌的影响由大到小依次为烧结温度、Al(OH)3与熔盐质量比、Na3PO4含量、保温时间,结合单因素方法得到最优工艺参数为烧结温度1 050 ℃、Al(OH)3与熔盐质量比1:2、Na3PO4质量分数1%、TiOSO4质量分数1%、保温时间3 h;在优化工艺条件下获得平均直径为15.413 μm、厚度为0.765 μm、径厚比为20.147的形状规则的片状α-Al2O3,且Al2O3纯净、无杂质。

       

      Abstract: The flaky α-Al2O3 was prepared by the molten salt method with Al(OH)3 as precursor. The effects of the mass ratio of Al(OH)3 to molten salt (NaCl+Na2SO4) (1:1,1:2,1:3), the mass fraction of Na3PO4 additive (0.1%, 1%, 2%), the mass fraction of TiOSO4 additive (0.5%, 1%, 3%), the sintering temperature (900,1 050,1 200 ℃) and the holding time (1,3,5 h) on the Al2O3 morphology were investigated by orthogonal experiment combined with single factor method,and the optimal process parameters were obtained. The results show that the factors influencing the morphology of flaky α-Al2O3 in descending order were sintering temperature, mass ratio of Al(OH)3 to molten salt, Na3PO4 content, and holding time. Combined with the single factor method, the optimal process parameters were sintering temperature of 1 050 ℃, Al(OH)3 to molten salt mass ratio of 1:2, Na3PO4 mass fraction of 1%, TiOSO4 mass fraction of 1%, and holding time of 3 h. Under the optimized process conditions, the flaky α-Al2O3 had the average diameter of 15.413 μm, thickness of 0.765 μm, and radius to thickness ratio of 20.147; the Al2O3 was pure and free of impurities.
