Abstract:
Mo
2FeB
2 cermet cladding layer was prepared on Q235 steel plate surface by laser cladding technique. The effect of laser scanning speed on the structure, microhardness, and wear resistance of the cladding layer was studied. The results show that the Mo
2FeB
2 cermet cladding layer was composed of Mo
2FeB
2, (Mo,Fe,Cr)
3B
2, CrB, MoB, and Fe-Cr phases. With the increase of scanning speed, the morphology of the Mo
2FeB
2 hard phase changed from long strip to block, and the size decreased. The scanning speed had little effect on the content of the hard phase. With the increase of scanning speed, the average microhardness and the wear mass loss of Mo
2FeB
2 cermet cladding layer decreased first and then increased. When the scanning speed was 400 mm·min
-1, the hardness of the cladding layer was relatively high and the wear resistance was the best.
