    Carbide Dissolution and Grain Growth Behavior of Cr5 Steel Used as Cold Work Roller during Austenitizing

    • 摘要: 采用扫描电镜、光学显微镜和X射线衍射仪等研究了冷轧工作辊用Cr5钢在900~1 050 ℃加热时M7C3型碳化物的溶解及晶粒长大规律.结果表明:随着温度的升高和保温时间的延长,M7C3碳化物溶解量逐渐增加,同时晶粒逐渐长大;在温度低于1 000 ℃时,晶粒生长缓慢,碳化物溶解较少,在温度接近1 050 ℃时晶粒长大明显,碳化物基本完全溶解;在保温开始阶段,M7C3型碳化物溶解速率较快,且溶解速率随着温度的升高而加快,随着保温时间的延长,溶解速率逐渐减慢.

       

      Abstract: M7C3 type carbide dissolution and grain growth law of Cr5 steel used as cold work roller during heating at temperature range from 900 ℃ to 1 050 ℃ were investigated by means of scanning electron microscopy,optical microscopy and X-ray diffraction.The results show that dissolution amount of M7C3 carbide increased with the increase of temperature and holding time as well as the grains grew gradually.The grains grew slowly in terms of the temperatures below 1 000 ℃,and only a lirttle arbide dissolved.While the grains grew quickly as the temperature closed to 1 050 ℃ and almost all the carbide dissolved.At the beginning of holding stage,M7C3 type carbide dissolved rapidly and dissolution velocity increased with the increase of temperature.The dissolution velocity decreased with the prolongation of holding time.
