    Validity of Finite Element Analysis Based on Homogenizing Assumption of Particle Reinforced Aluminium Matrix Composites

    • 摘要: 以SiCp/A356复合材料为例,建立了复合材料的两种单元体模型,即均质单元体模型和非均质单元体模型,通过两种模型的计算结果和试验结果的比较,系统地研究了SiC颗粒含量和温度对均质假设有限元计算有效性的影响.结果表明:SiC颗粒质量分数不大于20%的SiCp/A356复合材料,在25~300 ℃的温度范围内,均质假设的有限元模拟计算是有效的.

       

      Abstract: As an example to the SiC particle reinforced aluminium matrix composites (SiCp/A365),the two unit cell models of composites were established,i.e.,the homogeneous and non-homogeneous unit cell models.On the basis of the comparison of caculation results with experiment results of the models,the effects of content of SiC particles and the temperature of composites on the validity of finite element analysis based on the homogenizing assumption of SiCp/A356 composites were investigated systematically.The results show that when the content of SiC particles in the composites was no more than 20 wt% and the temperature in the range from 25 ℃ to 300 ℃,the simulation results from finite element analysis were valid.
