    Analysis of Oil Pipe Fracture in a Power Plant EH Governing System

    • 摘要: 采用光学显微镜、扫描电镜等手段对电厂电液调节系统油管在插接焊接处的断裂原因进行了失效分析.结果表明:断裂面上的显微组织为等轴晶,晶粒尺寸在10~40 μm之间,沿管子径向基本均匀分布,且同远离断口的母材显微组织相似,无明显变化;断口有大量的疲劳裂纹,在焊缝组织同母材组织连接处还观察到了焊接缺陷以及部分解理断裂等特征;由于这些疲劳裂纹萌生于管子的表面,而没有在焊接缺陷及晶间萌生,因此断裂失效的主要原因为疲劳破坏,焊接导致的缺陷及脆化有一定的促进作用.

       

      Abstract: The oil pipe fracture failure in a power plant EH governing system has been analyzed by mean of optical microscopy and scanning electron microscopy.The results show that the microstructure of the fracture surface is consisted of equiaxed grains,with the grain size of about 10-40 μm.They distribute homogeneously along the radial direction and has no obvious difference to the microstructure far away from the fracture surface.The observation of fracture surface show that there exist lots of fatigue cracks and also some welding defects and cleavage surface as well.The initiation of fatigue cracks originated from the surface,not from the welding defect or intergranular interface,indicate that the main reason for this failure is fatigue failure,and welding defects promoted this fracture failure.
