Abstract:
The compressed deforming properties of Cu-Ni-Si alloy in semisolid state were studied using the Gleeble-1500 thermal simulator, and the effect of different trace elements and deformation rates on deforming properties of this alloy was analyzed. The deforming properties of Cu-Ni-Si alloy were improved preferably through adding 0.05%Ce.The adding of trace boron was harmful to deforming properties. The optimal process parameters for this semi-solid Cu-Ni-Si alloy were obtained as follows:0.05% Ce of addition,1048℃ of holding temperature,15s of holding time, and 2s-1of deformation rate.
