    利用氧化铁皮制备还原铁粉磁流变液

    Preparation of Reduced Iron Powders Magneto-Rheological Fluid Using Iron Scale

    • 摘要: 将轧钢留下的氧化铁皮用硫酸溶解并经过提纯净化得到硫酸亚铁溶液,以(NH4)2CO3为沉淀剂制备α-Fe2O3,再经氢气还原后得到还原铁粉,将还原铁粉与适量硅油混合并添加少量纳米Fe3O4粉制备还原铁粉磁流变液,对还原铁粉进行了表征,对还原铁粉和磁流变液性能进行了研究.结果表明:还原铁粉粒径约为1 μm,其比饱和磁化强度与羰基铁粉相当;还原铁粉磁流变液属于Binham流体,添加质量分数0.8%纳米Fe3O4粉能有效提高其剪切应力;还原铁粉磁流变液不但具有较好的抗沉降稳定性,而且在低磁场下具有良好的磁流变特性.

       

      Abstract: Iron scale of the rolled steel was solved by H2SO4,and FeSO4 solution was got after purification.Then α-Fe2O3 powders were prepared by precipitation method using (NH4)2CO3.After α-Fe2O3 was reduced by H2,the reduced iron powders were mixed with some silicone oil and a little nano Fe3O4 to prepare reduced iron powders magneto-rheological fluid(MRF).The reduced iron powders were characterized and the properties of the powders and MRF were studied.The results show that the particle size of reduced iron powders was about 1 μm and the specific saturation magnetization was the same as carbonyl iron powders.The reduced iron powders MRF belonged to Binham fluid and the shear stress could increase effectively by adding 0.8wt% nano Fe3O4.The reduced iron powders MRF not only had good anti-sedimentation stability,but also superior magneto-rheological properties in low magnetic field intensity.
