    Effect of Tempering Temperature on Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of EH40 High Strength Ship Plate Steel

    • 摘要: 应用光学显微镜、扫描电镜和力学性能检测设备研究了回火温度对68 mm厚EH40级高强度船板钢组织和力学性能的影响。结果表明: 在500~670 ℃的温度范围内回火后, 该钢板的组织形态基本不发生变化, 但随着回火温度的上升, 钢板内部碳化物弥散析出、均匀分布, 钢板的强度降低, 韧性提高; 600 ℃×3.5 h回火后钢板具有最优的强韧性能匹配。

       

      Abstract: The effect of tempering temperature on the microstructure and mechanical properties of EH40 high strength ship plate steel with thickness of 68 mm was studied by optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy and mechanical properties detection device. The results indicate that there were little changes in the microscopic structures after tempering from 500 ℃ to 670 ℃ for the steel plate, but with the increase of tempering temperature, the carbides precipitated dispersively and distributed uniformly in steel plate interior, and the strength decreased and toughness increased; the steel plate had optimal strength and ductility properties after tempering at 600 ℃ for 3.5 h.
