    Influence of Rail Gap Width on Rail Aluminothermic Welding Joint Performance

    • 摘要: 为了提高钢轨铝热焊接接头的性能, 研究了钢轨铝热焊轨缝间隙对预热时间和接头性能的影响。结果表明: 轨缝间隙对焊接过程预热时间和接头静弯强度的影响显著, 轨缝间隙越大, 所需要的预热时间越长; 当焊接轨缝间隙为20~22 mm时, 轨底预热效果差, 易产生未焊合, 接头静弯载荷达不到标准要求; 当焊接轨缝间隙为32~40 mm时, 易在焊缝中央形成显微疏松, 接头的静弯载荷低于标准的要求; 轨缝间隙范围在24~30 mm时, 接头静弯载荷可满足TB/T 1632.3-2005要求。

       

      Abstract: In order to improve the performance of rail aluminothermic welding joint, the influence of the rail gap width on preheating time and joint performance was investigated. The results show that the rail gap width had great effect on preheating time and static bending strength of the joint during welding. The larger the rail gap width, the longer the preheating time. When the rail gap width was 20-22 mm, the preheating affect of the rail base was bad. It was easy to form lack of fusion, the static bending load could not reach the standard; when the width was 32-40 mm, it was easy to form micro porosity in the middle of welding joint, and the static bending load was lower than the standard. When the rail gap width was 24-30 mm, the load could meet the TB/T 1632.3-2005 standard.
