    聚四氟乙烯与超细高岭土填充聚甲醛复合材料的摩擦学性能

    Tribological Behavior of POM Composites Filled with PTFE and Ultra-fine Kaolin Particulates

    • 摘要: 用聚四氟乙烯(PTFE)和超细高岭土填充聚甲醛(POM),采用热模压成型工艺制备出四种不同成分的试样,在往复式滑动摩擦试验机上进行摩擦磨损试验,并对磨损表面形貌进行了分析.结果表明:只填充PTFE的复合材料的摩擦因数和磨损率较纯POM均有较大幅度的下降,75%高岭土与20%PTFE复合填充的复合材料摩擦因数最小,耐磨性最好;纯POM的磨损机制是粘着磨损和磨粒磨损,POM复合材料的磨损机制以粘着磨损为主.

       

      Abstract: Polyoxymethylene (POM) and POM composites filled with polytetrafluoroethylene(PTFE)and ultra-fine kaolin particulates were prepared by hot compression molding.Wear and friction tests were performed in a reciprocating sliding tribotester.The worn surfaces for POM and POM composites were examined by scanning electron microscopy.It is found that in the case of only PTFE filler,the wear rate and friction coefficient of POM+20%PTFE are much lower than those of the pure POM.The lowest steady state wear rate and coefficient of friction are obtained for the composite made with 20%PTFE and 7.5% kaolin.SEM analysis shows that the wear mechanism of pure POM is the combination of adhesive and abrasive wear,and that of POM composites is dominated by adhesive wear.
