Abstract:
Resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking for 316L stainless steel welded joint at different test temperatures, pH values, chloride ion concentrations and applied stress in the simulating gas field condensate water and gas field water according to actual gas field containing CO2 were studied. The applied boundary conditions for 316L stainless steel in gas field containing CO2 was proposed. The results show that the applied boundary conditions for 316L stainless steel used in gas field containing CO2 changed with the difference of pH value, temperature and chloride ion concentration.
