Abstract: The failure of 302 stainless steel chain board was analyzed.The results show the cracking reason is intergranular corrosion.Low solution treatment temperature of the raw material led to carbide not dissolving and distributing along the grain boundary.At the same time,working atmosphere of the chain board has a lot of corrosion medium.The tensile stress from using process and the residual stress from cold working process cause the cracking.
