Effect of Electric Magnetic Stirring on Solidified Microstructure and Hardness of Cu-6%Ag Alloy

摘要: 通过组织观察与硬度测试的方法研究了电磁搅拌对Cu-6%Ag合金凝固组织及硬度的影响。结果表明: 施加电磁搅拌后, Cu-6%Ag合金的晶粒细化, 初生铜枝晶变短、变粗, 共晶组织细化, 呈网状, 铜枝晶内的银含量降低, 铜枝晶的硬度由82 HV升高至88 HV。Abstract: The effects of electric magnetic stirring (EMS) on solidified microstructure and hardness of Cu-6%Ag alloy were studied by microstructure observation and hardness testing. The results show that, after applying EMS, grains of Cu-6%Ag alloy were refined, primary Cu dendrite became shorter and coarser, and eutectic microstructure became thinner and exhibited net shape. The mass fraction of Ag in Cu dendrite decreased and the hardness of Cu dendrite increased from 82 HV to 88 HV.
