Abstract:
TiO2 film and SnO2-TiO2 composite film were prepared on the surface of pure titanium by micro-arc oxidation in phosphate electrolyte and composite electrolyte of phosphate and stannate, respectively. XRD, FESEM, EDS, XPS and UV-Vis spectrophotometry were used to characterize the surface morphology, phase composition and photocatalytic property of the films. The results indicate that the TiO2 film was mainly composed of anatase TiO2, rutile TiO2 and pure titanium phases with an uneven pore distribution surface. However, the pore distribution was uniform in the surface of SnO2-TiO2 composite film mainly composed of anatase TiO2, rutile TiO2, SnO2 and pure titanium phases. The photocatalytic property of SnO2-TiO2 composite film was obviously better than that of single TiO2 film.
