Abstract:
Influences of aging treatment on microstructure and properties of forged QAl10-5-5 aluminum bronze were studied by hardness test, tensile test, X-ray diffraction analysis, microstructure observation. The results show that the aged QA110-5-5 aluminum bronze exhibited fairly good mechanical properties when aging condition was 650 ℃×2 h. Under this aging condition, the hardness, tensile strength, yield strength and elongation of the aged alloy were 212 HB, 769 MPa, 492 MPa and 18.23% respectively, which were improved by 8.16%, 6.22%, 12.33% and 13.94% respectively compared with those of the forged alloy, and more fine granular κ phase precipitated from alloy diffused well in the homogeneously distributed microstructure of matrix of α-phase and (α+γ2)eutectoid.
