Abstract:
Ustilizing an electro-spark deposition equipment,45 steel samples surfaces were deposited by Si electrode in kerosene,and a very high amorphous content Fe base alloy coating was fabricated by electric-spark process.The microstructure of the coating was studied by SEM,XRD and EPM.The results show that the coating has homogenous microstructure and is formed by the reaction of Fe from the matrix,Si from the electrode and C from kerosene,and the corrosion resistence of the sample in 50 g·L-1 NaCl is improved greatly than 45 steel.
