Abstract:
The contact angle (θ)of different HCT bloods on three titanium alloys (TA2,TC4,TLM)surfaces which had different roughnesses was studied using JY-82 contact angle meter.The wettability of the human blood on the titanium alloy surface was investigated.The results show that the rougher the alloy surface,the better the wettability of the blood on the surface under the test conditions.The bigger the blood′s HCT,the worse the wettability on the alloy surface.The wettability of the blood on the TLM alloy was the best,the TA2 titanium alloy was the worst,and the TC4 alloy was moderate.
