    Properties of Al2O3/(W,Cr) Cermet for Hot Extrusion Die

    • 摘要: 采用热压烧结法制备了不同Al2O3含量的热挤压模具用Al2O3/(W, Cr)金属陶瓷, 并研究了其力学性能、抗热震性能及摩擦磨损性能。结果表明: Al2O3/(W, Cr)陶瓷的最大抗弯强度和断裂韧度分别达到800 MPa和13 MPa·m1/2; Al2O3体积分数为60%的金属陶瓷抗热震性能优于体积分数为70%的; 两者的摩擦因数都随法向载荷的增大逐渐降低, 随摩擦时间的延长而升高; 磨损率随法向载荷的增加而增大; 其主要磨损机制为磨粒磨损并伴有粘着磨损。

       

      Abstract: Al2O3/(W, Cr) cermet with different Al2O3 contents for hot extrusion die was prepared by hot pressing method. The mechanical properties, thermal shock resistance and friction and wear properties of the cermet were investigated. The results show that the maximal bending strength and fracture toughness of the Al2O3/(W, Cr) cermet reached 800 MPa and 13 MPa·m1/2. The thermal shock resistance of the cermet with 60vol% Al2O3 was superior to that of the one with 70vol% Al2O3, the friction coefficient of both the cermets decreased with the increase of normal load and increased with the prolongation of friction time. The wear rate increased with increasing the normal load. The main wear mechanisms of the cermet were adhesive wear with abrasive wear.
