    Failure Analysis of the Die of the Synchronizer Ring

    • 摘要: 分析了两种典型汽车同步齿环失效模具的化学成分、断口形貌及显微组织,同时研究了模具表层温度对其失效形式的影响.结果表明:化学成分不合格、电火花加工缺陷及应力集中是模具早期失效的主要原因;在锻造过程中模具表层温度升高对模具的变形失效有非常重要的影响;最后针对生产实际提出了提高模具使用寿命的方法,并取得了一定的效果.

       

      Abstract: The chemical compositions of the die material,the fracture appearance and the micro-structure of two kinds of the failure dies in production process were analyzed and the effects of the layer temperature on the die service life also were analyzed.It shows that the chemical composition unqualified,the electric spark machining flaw and the stress concentration are the main reasons to the early failure die and that the surface layer temperature increment of the die has an extremely important influence on the distortion invalidation of the die during the forging process.Finally the measures of improving the die service life are put forward in the actual production and achieved a certain effects.
