Abstract:
The influences of structural parameters of the magnesium(panel)-aluminum(honey comb core) honeycomb panel on its compressive properties and three point bending properties were investigated. The results indicate that the compressive properties and bending properties of the honeycomb panel were significantly influenced by the honeycomb core structure size. The larger the honeycomb core wall thickness, the smaller the cell edge length, the higher the compressive strength and bending strength, the larger the compressive stiffness and bending stiffness. With increasing the honeycomb core height, the bending strength and compressive stiffness decreased, and the bending strength and bending stiffness increased.
