    Relationship between Magneto-plasticity and Magnetostriction in Welding Seam of Low Alloy Steel in Alternating Magnetic Field at Different Frequencies

    • 摘要: 通过改变交变磁场的频率(磁感应强度一定),研究了QSTE420钢焊缝的磁致微区塑性变形和磁致伸缩幅值随频率的变化趋势,并探讨了磁致微区塑性变形和磁致伸缩两者之间的关系.结果表明:随交变磁场频率的降低,QSTE420钢焊缝区域的磁致塑性变形更加明显,而磁致伸缩幅值则逐渐减小;磁致伸缩所引起的应力、应变不是磁致微区塑性变形的主要原因.

       

      Abstract: With the alteration of frequency of the alternating magnetic field,the tendencies of magneto-plasticity and magnetostriction in the welding seam of QSTE420 steel were studied.Based on the experimental results,the relationship between magneto-plasticity and magnetostriction was interpreted.The results show that as the frequency of magnetic field decrease,the magneto-plasticity in welding seam of QSTE420 steel became more remarkable,but the strain magnitude caused by magnetostriction gradually dropped.It could be concluded that magnetostriction can not be the main cause of micro plasticity.
