    Appraisal of Oversea Oil Gas Pipeline Defect Assessment Methods

    • 摘要: 油气管道在服役过程中,难免由于安装不当、地质环境变化、有害介质腐蚀和海水冲蚀等产生各种损伤和缺陷,正确评价这些缺陷对管道强度、寿命和安全性的影响对保障油气管道的安全运行,避免经济损失和保护生态环境具有重要的意义.详细介绍了国外油气管道焊接、腐蚀、机械损伤等缺陷评估的主要方法,评述了这些方法的适用条件和评价流程.

       

      Abstract: There exist kinds of damages and defects at active oil gas pipelines owing to the mis-installation,corrosion from harmful media,geological environment change,and sea water scouring,etc. It is important to evaluate the effects of above defects on the pipe strength,life-span and safety correctly for ensuring the operational safety of oil gas pipelines as well as avoiding economic lost and environmental damage. Some main oversea pipeline defect assessment methods are introduced in this paper and evaluated on their application scopes,as well as their assessment steps.
