Abstract:
The characteristic of the age-hardening curves of Pb-Ca-Sn-Al alloy for the grain boundary character distributions(GBCD) was studied.Hardness measurement and field emission scanning electron microscopy(Sirion 200 FESEM) were used to investigate the precipitation behavior of Pb-0.05%Ca-1.5%Sn-0026%Al alloy aged at temperatures of 100-200℃ for various times after solid at 310℃.The results indicate that age-hardening curves exhibit two peaks.The higher ageing temperature results in the lower age-hardening peak.
