    Microstructure and Tribological Properties of Zr Permeating Layer on TC11 Titanium Alloy Surface

    • 摘要: 为提高TC11钛合金的摩擦磨损性能, 对合金表面进行双层辉光等离子渗锆处理, 对渗锆层进行了物相分析、组织观察和微区成分分析, 并在不同温度下进行了摩擦磨损试验。结果表明: TC11钛合金表面获得了组织致密、厚度为25 μm、主要由α-Ti相组成的渗层, 锆元素主要固溶在α-Ti相中; 在室温和450 ℃时, 渗锆层的摩擦因数均远小于TC11钛合金的; 室温时, TC11钛合金的磨损机制主要以粘着磨损和磨粒磨损为主, 渗锆层主要以磨粒磨损为主; 在450 ℃时, TC11钛合金磨痕中心位置主要以粘着磨损和剥层为主, 磨痕边缘部位以磨粒磨损为主, 渗锆层的磨损机制主要以磨粒磨损为主, 兼有轻微剥层现象。

       

      Abstract: In order to improve the friction and wear properties of TC11 titanium alloy, Zr layer had been deposited on the TC11 alloy surface by double glow plasma technique. Phase analysis, microstructure observation and micro area composition analysis of the layer were performed, and friction and wear tests were carried out at different temperatures. The results show that the layer with dense microstructure and thickness of 25 μm, and mainly composed of α-Ti could be obtained on the surface of TC11 titanium alloy. Zr was mainly solid dissolved in α-Ti. The friction coefficient of the layer was smaller than that of the TC11 alloy at room temperature and 450 ℃. The wear mechanisms of the TC11 alloy were adhesive wear and abrasive wear, and abrasive wear for the layer at room temperature. When the temperature was 450 ℃, the mechanisms of the worn scar at the center of the alloy were adhesive wear and peeling, and that on the edge was abrasive wear; the mechanism of the layer was abrasive wear with slight peeling.
