    Effects of Ti and Zr on Microstructure and Properties of 2219 Al-Cu Alloy Weld Joint

    • 摘要: 采用力学性能试验和组织观察的方法,研究了焊丝中添加钛和锆对2219铝铜合金惰性气体保护焊焊接接头显微组织和性能的影响.结果表明:钛和锆的组织细化作用是相容的,增加焊丝中钛和锆的含量,可促使焊缝中的粗大、方向性很强的柱状晶转变为细小的等轴晶;钛和锆同时改善了沿晶界和枝晶间分布的α(Al)-CuAl2共晶分布形态,使其均匀分布;钛和锆可显著提高焊接接头的硬度、抗拉强度和伸长率.

       

      Abstract: Effects of Ti and Zr additions in filler wires on the microstructure and properties of metal inert gas (MIG) welding of 2219 Al-Cu alloy were investigated by means of mechanical property tests,OM and SEM.The results show that refinement effect of Ti and Zr was compatible.The coarse and oriented columnar grains reformed to fine equiaxed grains with the content increase of Ti and Zr in filler wires,which improved the morphology and distribution of α(Al)-CuAl2 eutectic along grain boundaries and interdendritic.So the microhardness,tensile strength and elongation of the weld joint was increased greatly.
