    Low-Temperature Electron Transport Property of Carbon Nanotubes Bulk Preparated by Spark Plasma Sintering

    • 摘要: 利用放电等离子烧结技术制备出了致密的碳纳米管块材, 用SEM 和TEM 观察了其微观形貌, 用XRD和Raman光谱仪表征了其物相, 测试了沿垂直于外加压力方向上的低温电输运性能。结果表明:块材中碳纳米管的微观结构在烧结过程中没有被破坏, 仍表现为碳纳米管的固有特征;碳纳米管块材在202K附近出现金属到绝缘体的Peierls相变。

       

      Abstract: Compact carbon nanotubes bulk was prepared by spark plasma sintering technique. The morphology and phase composition of the bulk were analyzed by SEM, TEM, XRD and Raman pattern res pect ively. And the low-temperature electron transport property along the direction of perpendicular to impressed pressure was also investigated. The results show that the microstructure of carbon nanotubes was not damaged during sintering process and retained the instinctive character. The carbon nanotubes bulk exhibited metal-to-insulator Peierls phase transition at around 202 K.
