    Wear Comparison of Different PCBN Cutter in Interrupted Dry Turning of ADI

    • 摘要: 选用DBW85、DBC50两种牌号的聚晶立方氮化硼刀具断续干式车削等温淬火球墨铸铁, 对两种刀具的使用寿命和磨损情况进行了研究。结果表明: 相同车削条件下, 高氮化硼含量DBW85刀具的使用寿命高于低氮化硼含量DBC50刀具的, 且车削速度越高, 其寿命优势越明显; DBW85刀具的主要磨损机理是磨粒磨损、粘结扩散磨损; DBC50刀具的主要磨损机理是微崩刃、粘结扩散磨损。

       

      Abstract: Austempering ductile iron (ADI) was turned in interrupted dry style using polycrystalline cubic boron nitride(PCBN) cutter with two kinds of brands of DBW85 and DBC50, and the life and wear of the two kinds of cutters were studied. The results show that the life of DBW85 cutter with higher content cubic boron nitride(CBN) was higher than that of the DBC50 cutter with lower content CBN, and the lift advantage was more obvious with the higher of the turning speed. The main wear mechanism of DBW85 cutter was abrasive wear, adhesion diffusion wear and DBC50 cutter was micro chipping, adhesion diffusion wear.
