    Structure and Mechanical Properties of Al-1%Si Bar Material Prepared by Electromagnetic Continuous Casting

    • 摘要: 采用电磁连铸和普通连铸技术制备了Al-1%Si合金棒材,对其微观组织及力学性能进行了分析.结果表明:电磁连铸技术得到的合金晶粒细小,且硅的分布比较均匀;其硬度比普通连铸得到的合金提高6%,抗拉强度提高7.2%,伸长率提高21.2%;其断口表面韧窝比较深,韧性好,且有大量滑移线存在.

       

      Abstract: The electromagnetic continuous casting(EMCC) and direct chill continuous casting (DCC) methods were used to make Al-1%Si alloy,respectively.The crystal structure and mechanical properties were analyzed.Compared with DCC,EMCC ingots have more fine size of grain and the element Si distributed uniformly;the hardness,tensile strength and elongation are increased by about 6%,7.2% and 21.2% respectively;the dimple of fracture face is deeper;the toughness is higher;and there are numerous slip lines.
