    Effect of Beforehand Quenching and Tempering Process on Microstructure and Properties of DC53 Die Steel

    • 摘要: 以DC53模具钢为研究对象, 通过硬度测试、冲击试验研究了预调质处理对其组织和性能的影响, 并对其冲击断口形貌进行了分析。结果表明: 对于经过球化处理的DC53模具钢, 在最终热处理前进行预调质处理, 能显著降低其硬度, 并提高其冲击韧性; 预调质处理后在400 ℃回火的钢能获得相对比较理想的硬度和韧性配比。

       

      Abstract: Effects of beforehand quenching and tempering process on microstructure and properties of DC53 die steel were studied by hardness testing and impact testing, then the fracture morphology were analyzed. The results show that lower hardness and higher impact energy could be obtained for spheroidized DC53 die steel by adding quenching and tempering treatment before final heat treatment. The proper hardness and impact toughness could be obtained after the tested steel was tempered at 400 ℃ after beforehand quenching and tempering process.
