    两种铣刀在切削碳纤维增强塑料时的磨损机理

    Wear Mechanism of Two Milling Cutters in Cutting Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastics

    • 摘要: 用TiB2涂层硬质合金铣刀和金刚石涂层硬质合金铣刀分别对碳纤维增强塑料进行铣削加工试验, 通过扫描电镜、三维视频显微镜等研究了两种涂层刀具的磨损形态和磨损机理。结果表明: 刀具交替切削软的树脂基体和高强度的碳纤维而产生的交变应力以及高强度碳纤维对切削刃的高频冲击作用是促使刀具发生崩刃和涂层剥落的主要原因;金刚石涂层刀具由于有极高的硬度和耐磨性, 其使用寿命明显高于TiB2涂层刀具, 且加工表面的粗糙度低于TiB2涂层刀具的;两种刀具铣削碳纤维增强塑料的磨损机理均为磨料磨损。

       

      Abstract: A TiB2 coating carbide milling cutter and a diamond coating carbide milling cutter were used to cut carbon fiber reinforced plastics (CFRPs ) in order to study the wear morphology and wear mechanism of these two carbide tools by scanning electron microscopy and three-dimensional video microscopy. The results show that the alternate stress generated during the alternately cutting of soft resin matrix and high strength carbon fiber and the high frequency impact of the high strength carbon fibers on the tool edge caused the chipping and coating peeling of the tools. The life of diamond coating cutter was significantly higher than that of the TiB2 coating cutter, and the surface roughness of the former was also lower than that of the latter because of high hardness and wear resistance of diamond coating. Abrasive wear was the wear mechanism of these two cutters.
