钛酸酯偶联剂含量对磁流变液性能的影响
Effect of Titanate Coupling Agent Content on Performance of Magnetorheological Fluid

摘要: 分别以不同含量的钛酸酯偶联剂为稳定剂, 以羰基铁粉为磁性颗粒制备了硅油基磁流变液, 比较了不同体积分数钛酸酯偶联剂对磁流变液沉降稳定性和剪切性能的影响。结果表明: 磁流变液的沉降稳定性随钛酸酯偶联剂含量增多而下降, 添加2%时具有最好的沉降稳定性; 添加4%钛酸酯偶联剂时, 在400 mT磁场下剪切屈服强度可达20 kPa; 并得到了羰基铁粉体积分数为35%时磁流变液的剪切屈服强度、磁场强度及钛酸酯含量的定量关系式。Abstract: A novel silicon-oil-based magnetorheological fluid (MRF) was prepared using titanate coupling agent with different contents as stabilizer and carboxyl iron powder as the magnetic particles. The effects of different volume fractions titanate coupling agents on sedimentation stability and shear properties of the MRF were compared. The results show that with the increase of the titanate coupling agent content the sedimentation stability of the MRF decreased. The MRF added 2vol% titanate coupling agent had the best sedimentation stability, while added 4vol% titanate coupling agent had a shear strength of 20 kPa when the magnetic field intensity was 400 mT. The quantitative relationship between shear strength and magnetic field intensity as well as the content of titanate was obtained when the volume fraction of carboxyl iron powder in MRF was 35vol%.
