Abstract:
Effects of high pressure and aging treatments on electrical conductivity of Cu-Cr alloy were studied. The results show that high pressure treatment could decrease electrical conductivity of the Cu-Cr alloy, however, high pressure treatment followed by optimum aging treatment could increase the electrical conductivity and remarkably shorten aging time to reach higher electrical conductivity. The higher electrical conductivity, 18.76 MS·m-1, could be obtained after the alloy was treated with 3 GPa pressure and followed by aging at 500 ℃ for 2 h.
