    Effect of Co on Phase Transformation and Damping Properties of Ni-Ga-Fe Ferromagnetic Shape Memory Alloys

    • 摘要: 采用低频扭摆仪研究了铁磁性形状记忆合金Ni53Ga27Fe20和Ni53Ga27Fe15Co5合金的阻尼性能与应变振幅、频率及温度的关系,研究了钴元素对镍-镓-铁形状记忆合金阻尼性能的影响.结果表明:室温下Ni53Ga27Fe15Co5合金的显微组织为三种形态的马氏体,而Ni53Ga27Fe20合金为单一形态马氏体;前者的马氏体相变与逆相变的起始温度为59.2℃与58.7℃,结束温度为35.4℃与72.2℃;后者的起始温度为69.3℃与93.6℃,结束温度为60.2℃与102.6℃;Ni53Ga27Fe20合金在室温下为滞弹性阻尼;Ni53Ga27Fe15Co5合金室温下当应变振幅小于5.0×10-5时为滞弹性阻尼,当应变振幅大于5.0×10-5时为静滞后型阻尼;Ni53Ga27Fe15Co5合金的热弹性马氏体相变温度较Ni53Ga27Fe20合金的降低,在相变温度范围内即具有高阻尼特性,最大阻尼值为0.072.

       

      Abstract: The correlations between damping properties and strain amplitude as well as frequency and temperature of the Ni53Ga27Fe20 ferromagnetic shape memory alloy(FSMA)and the Ni53Ga27Fe15Co5 FSMA were investigated by using low frequency torsion pendulum.The effect of Co on damping properties of the Ni-Ga-Fe FSMA was studied.The results show that the microstructure of the Ni53Ga27Fe15Co5 alloy at room temperature was martensite with three forms,and that of the Ni53Ga27Fe20 alloy was martensite with single form.The initial temperatures of martensite transformation and reverse transformation of the former were 59.2℃ and 58.7℃,and the finish temperatures were 35.4℃ and 72.2℃.The initial temperatures of martensite transformation and reverse transformation of the latter alloy were 69.3℃ and 93.6℃,and the finish temperatures were 60.2℃ and 102.6℃.The Ni53Ga27Fe20 alloy was anelastic damping at room temperature.The Ni53Ga27Fe15Co5 alloy was anelastic damping when the strain amplitude was less than 5.0×10-5 and static hysteretic damping when the strain amplitude was more than 5.0×10-5 at room temperature.The temperature of thermoelastic martensite phase transformation of the Ni53Ga27Fe15Co5 alloy was lower than that of the Ni53Ga27Fe20 alloy.The Ni53Ga27Fe15Co5 alloy had high damping properties with the maximum value of 0.072 in the phase transformation temperature range.
