    Influence of Al Content on Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of TB5 Titanium Alloy

    • 摘要: 采用两次真空自耗熔炼技术制备了亚稳定β型TB5钛合金,研究了铝含量对固溶处理(800 ℃×10 min)和固溶时效处理后(800 ℃×10 min+540 ℃×8 h空冷)合金组织与力学性能的影响.结果表明:当铝含量(质量分数)在2.8%~3.2%时,固溶后合金的显微组织基本相同,固溶+时效后不同成分合金的组织也没明显差异;随铝含量增多,不同状态合金强度均先升后降;韧性变差;铝含量为3.0%的合金具有最高的强度,固溶+时效态抗拉强度为1 300.0 MPa,伸长率为8.8%.

       

      Abstract: The metastable β-TB5 titanium alloy was prepared by the twice vacuum self-consuming arc melting.The effect of Al content on microstructure and mechanical properties of the alloy treated by solution (800 ℃×10 min)and solution-aging (800 ℃×10 min+540 ℃×8 h)was studied.The results show that the microstructure of the alloy was almost same with the one after solution as the Al content was 2.8wt%-3.2wt%.No inarked difference was found anong the microstructure of the alloys with different compasition afcer solution and aging.As the inerease of Al content,the strength of all the alloys in different states first increased and then decreased,and the tonghness tuned bad.The alloy had the highest strength the tensile,strength of 1 300.0 MPa in solution and agingstate,and the elongation was 8.8% as the Al content was 3.0wt%.
