    两种TiC基金属陶瓷的组织结构与刀具切削性能

    Microstructure and Cutting Properties of Two kinds of TiC-based Cermets

    • 摘要: 采用纳米TiN加入微米TiC混合粉末(A)和纳米TiC0.7N0.3固溶体粉末(B)两种配料,用无压烧结方法制备了A和B两种金属陶瓷材料及其相应刀具,对材料的组织和刀具的切削性能进行了研究.结果表明: A陶瓷相由黑色的芯和灰色的壳构成;而B陶瓷相兼有黑白两种芯和灰色的壳结构.分布于陶瓷相晶界处的纳米颗粒具有增强陶瓷基体的作用.在相同切削条件下,刀具A的切削性能比刀具B更好;高速切削时,氧化和扩散磨损加速了刀具的失效进程.

       

      Abstract: Two kinds of cermets (cermet A and B) and their cutters (Tool A and B),were sintered by TiC micronpowders with TiN nanoparticles and TiC0.7N0.3solution nanopowders under pressureless condition.The study of microstructures and cutting tests showed that ceramic phases of A had black cores surrounded by grey rims,while B exhibited black and white cores with grey rims.TiN nanoparticles distributed among ceramic grainboundaries can improve strength of ceramic matrix.Tool A behaved higher cutting performances in comparison with Tool B at the same cutting conditions.Oxidation and diffusion wears accelerated failing progress of cermet cutters at higher cutting speeds.
