Abstract:
The surface morphology and phase composition of Ni-P-nano SiC-PTFE composite coating prepared by electroless plating were studied by scanning electron microscopy, x-ray diffraction, diffrential thermal analysis, et al. The crystallization dynamics of the coating was also studied. The results show that the distribution of nano-SiC and PTFE particles was uniform in composite coating, and a few SiC particles agglomeration was found. The structure of coating changed from amorphous to crystal state gradually with the increase of heat treatment temperature, and crystallization phase precipitated, such as Ni, Ni3P and Ni3Si phases. Comparing with the Ni-P coating, the composite coating with two particles showed fairly low crystallization starting temperature and long crystallization time, and the crystallization activation energy of the composite coating was 268 kJ·mol-1.
