    Effect of Surface Mechanical Treatment on Surface Morphology and Tensile Properties of 5083 Aluminum Alloy

    • 摘要: 采用扫描电镜结合慢应变拉伸试验研究了表面机械处理(喷砂和砂轮盘打磨)对5083铝合金的表面形貌和拉伸性能的影响.结果表明:5083铝合金经表面机械处理后,出现了一定程度的损伤(表层产生了裂纹),从而使其拉伸时断裂时间缩短和伸长率降低,其中表面喷砂后,伸长率降低了9.9%,表面打磨后,伸长率降低了13.5%.

       

      Abstract: Scan electron microscopy and slow strain tension test were utilized to study the effect of surface mechanical treatment (sand blast and hand polish) on surface morphology and tensile properties of the 5083 aluminum alloy.The results show that surface mechanical treatment could lead to the damage of 5083 aluminum alloy(micro-cracks occured on the surface)in a certain extent,and the micro-cracks could lead to the shertening of the fracture time and the decrease of elongation during tension.The elongation of the sand blast-treated aluminum alloy decreased by 9.9%,and that of the hand polish-treated aluminum alloy decreased by 13.5%.
