    Effect of Stepped Amplitude on Strength of Thin Metal Ultrasonic Welded Joints

    • 摘要: 采用分阶振幅和恒定振幅对不同薄金属材料(0.1 mm厚的铝片和镀镍钢片搭接成锂电池极耳)进行超声焊接,利用3D共聚焦显微镜分析了焊接接头表面形貌特征,并通过剥离试验测其接头强度.结果表明:与恒定振幅相比,采用分阶振幅超声焊接铝片和镀镍钢片可获得更高的接头强度,且标准差稳定,减少接头表面与工具头的粘附,剥离试验后接头表面相对平整,减少了焊接过程中较软金属中产生的裂纹.

       

      Abstract: Stepped amplitude and constant amplitude were adopted in ultrasonic welding of dissimilar thin metals,aluminum plate and nickel plated steel of lithium battery electrode tab in 0.1 mm thickness.The surface morphology of welded joint were observed by 3D confocal laser scanning microscope,and the strength of welded joint was measured by peeling test,and then its standard deviation was calculated.The results show that the welded joint using stepped amplitude had a higher strength and a stable standard deviation of strength,adhesion between tool head and joint surface reduced,the surface was smooth after peel test,and serious cracks of the relatively soft metal during the process of welding reduced when compared to using constant amplitude.
