    Effects of Friction Stir Welding Process Parameters on Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of LY12 Aluminum Joints

    • 摘要: 利用正交试验法研究了搅拌摩擦焊工艺参数对LY12铝合金接头组织和力学性能的影响.结果表明:搅拌头轴肩直径对接头抗拉强度的影响大于搅拌头旋转速度和焊接速度对接头强度的影响;当焊接工艺参数匹配合理时,接头热输入量适当,焊核晶粒组织为细小均匀的等轴晶,接头抗拉强度大于350 MPa,接头强度系数高达86%.

       

      Abstract: Effects of friction stir welding (FSW) process parameters on microstructure and mechanical properties of the LY12 aluminum alloy joint were investigated with orthogonal experiments.The results show that the shoulder diameter of the stirrer has greater effect on the tensile strength of the joint than rotation speed and weld speed.When the welding parameters are proper,the heat input could be optimized,the microstructure of weld nugget consist of almost fine equiaxed grains,tensile strength of the joint is higher than 350 MPa and the joint strength coefficient is 86%.
