    Finite Element Simulation of Two-pass Drawing Process of an Aluminum Tube from Circular to Rectangular Section

    • 摘要: 针对铝合金管由圆形截面变形至矩形截面的两道次拉拔过程,相应建立了空拉拔和带芯头拉拔工艺的运动模型及弹塑性有限元模型,并进行了模拟分析.结果表明:当模具半角α2=11°时,拉拔载荷最小;空拉拔工艺的模孔定径带优化设计为中拱角度β=178°,可以有效消除失稳现象;残余应力值沿着矩形的周向轮廓波动明显,最大差值达3.06 MPa;回弹应变沿着矩形的周向轮廓有所波动,最大回弹应变量0.000 7,最小0.000 1;模拟结果与试验结果比较吻合.

       

      Abstract: The dynamic models and elasto-plastic finite element models of the non-plug and with-plug processes were established for the two-pass drawing process of an aluminium tube from circular to rectangular section,and then the simulation was performed.The results revealed that the drawing load touched bottom when the semi-die angle α2=11°.The sizing section of drawing die got optimized with angle β=178°,which eliminated instability.The residual stress waved along rectangle sides,and the maximal difference was 3.06 MPa.The spring-back strain also waved along rectangle sides,and the maximum was 0.000 7 and the minimum 0.000 1.The simulation results got good testing verifying.
