    Improvement of Mechanical Properties of Silicone Rubber

    • 摘要: 通过调整添加剂的含量,测试和分析了添加剂对硅橡胶力学性能的影响.结果表明:白炭黑(二氧化硅)的加入能有效地改善硅橡胶的硬度,但会阻碍硅橡胶的硫化,使其力学性能下降;当硫化剂(过氧化二异丙苯)加入量为1.5%~2.5%时,硅橡胶的常温力学性能最好.

       

      Abstract: The influence of additives on the mechanical properties of silicone rubber was studied by changing the addition of additives.The addition of silicon dioxide changed from zero to 14.5 gram per 100 gram raw rubber and the vulcanizing agent(dicumyl peroxide) changed from 0.7 to 4.5 gram per 100 gram raw rubber.The results show that the hardness of silicone rubber could be effectively improved by adding silicon dioxide;however,the addition decrease the mechanical properties due to decreases of the degree of vulcanization.The silicone rubber has good mechanical properties when the vulcanizing agent was 1.5 to 2.5 weight percent of raw rubber.
