    Rapid Prototyping Manufacturing of Ceramic Parts Based on Quick Solidification of Wax

    • 摘要: 基于石蜡速凝特性,提出了一种新的陶瓷制件快速成形技术.先将熔化的石蜡制成蜡板,然后根据计算机设计,在制备好的蜡板上刻出所需的图形,接着在镂空部分注入蜡浆料制得第一层,重复上述操作就可得到多层叠加的陶瓷生坯,最后进行烧结处理得到陶瓷制件.得到的叠层材料和未叠层材料的强度相差不大,叠层试样并未出现分层现象.此技术可以实现高效率、高精度、低成本的陶瓷成型,特别适合于复杂陶瓷制件的快速制造.

       

      Abstract: An approach for rapid prototyping and manufacturing of ceramic parts was developed based on the quick solidification of wax.After making the wax board by melting wax and then carving the needed graphics out from the wax board according to the computer design,the wax slurry was casted in the carved part.Finally,the laminated green body of ceramic parts produced by repeating the above steps was sintered to get the final products.The strength values of the cross-section of laminated sample and un-laminated sample were equivalent and there were no lamination of the laminated sample.This new technique is cheap,reliable,and significant to the manufacture of complicated ceramic parts.
