    Mechanical Properties of Ca-α/β-Sialon Bonded Corundum Composites

    • 摘要: 以硅粉、铝粉、CaCO3及不同粒径组合的刚玉为主要原料,Y2O3为添加剂,在1 500 ℃通过氮化反应制备了Ca-α/β-Sialon结合刚玉复合材料,研究了Sialon含量对该复合材料力学性能的影响.结果表明:随着Sialon含量的增加,Ca-α/β-Sialon结合刚玉复合材料的体积密度降低、气孔率增大、常温抗折强度提高;随着温度的升高,复合材料的抗折强度先升高后降低,在1 000 ℃时达到最大值.

       

      Abstract: Ca-α/β-Sialon bonded corundum composites were fabricated by nitridation at 1 500 ℃ with Si,Al,CaCO3 powders and corundum powders and particles as main raw materials and Y2O3 as additive.The effects of Sialon content on mechanical properties for the Ca-α/β-Sialon bonded corundum composite were also studied.The results show that when the Sialon content increased,the bulk density of the Ca-α/β-Sialon bonded corundum composite decreased,the porosity and room temperature modulus of rupture (MOR) of the composites increased.Moreover,the MOR of the composite first increased and then declined with an increase of temperature,which got the highest value at 1 000 ℃.
