Abstract:
The NiFe2O4 ceramic was prepared by powder metallurgy solid state sintering method, and the effects of sintering temperature and holding time on purity and relative density of the ceramic were studied. The results show that the purity of NiFe2O4 increased with the increase of sintering temperature and holding time. NiFe2O4 ceramic with higher purity was obtained after sintering at 1 000 ℃ for 2 h. Increasing sintering temperature and prolonging holding time were favorable for densifying of NiFe2O4 ceramic. A better sintering process of NiFe2O4 ceramic were 1 200 ℃×2 h.
