Abstract:
Welded joint of 0Cr18Ni9/20 g dissimilar clad sheet steel with 0.5 mm composite layer of stainless steel was prepared by the use of tungsten inert gas arc welding(TIG)processing and type H1Cr24Ni13 austenitic stainless steel welding wire.Studies on the welded joint were made by means of optical metaloscopy,energy dispersive spectrum (EDS) and SEM analysis.The results indicate that the welded joint of 0Cr18Ni9/20 g clad sheet steel can meet the demands for tensile strength and corrosion-resistance properties in practical service by the use of TIG welding processing and corresponding welding parameters.
